| Great result for our Australian couples. Just a reminder that the Williamsons now dance for Denmark, why does Manfredi always insist on pushing their results??? |

| Just the same reason that he mentions any of the great Australian dancers: Joshua Keefe, Bianca Tonizzo, Natalie Perry (i think), Natasha Manderson, all are Australian's dancing for anthor country and all have many family and friends who follow these dancers progress as they have seen them dance from a young age. If we as Australians were to limit overselves to celebrate dancers who only danced for Australia I think you would find that we have be having very few parties. |

I just wanted to point out that none of the Williamsons are Australian, in fact they are Canadian. They merely lived here for a while, they danced in Australia, with Australian partners - but were never Australian citizens.
They now represent Denmark.
I am also sick of seeing their results posted as though they are Aussies doing well overseas, they are not, they have lived in and danced in many countries. |

If it is offensive to read results of the Williamsons at major competitions, I will refrain from highlighting them. However they were a major part of dancing in Australia during the previous years they were here and I am sure a lot of people are interested to see what they have gone on to achieve.
No doubt you will still see their results posted here though (NOT HIGHLIGHTED) from the major competitions around the world. |

Thanks for your understanding Manfredi.
We will have to agree to disagree that the Williamson were a MAJOR part of Australian dancing.
There were so many fantastic WA dancers around that time, many of whom are still doing amazing things and making very valuable contributions to our industry here in Australia - without accolades. Some are still working hard on their competitive careers, others are teaching dance in studios and local schools, a few are involved in TV shows like So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars, some joined 'Burn The Floor", but all showcase the depth of talent in Australia (and of course WA). Personally I would prefer to focus on home grown talent. |

| I agree wholeheartedly with Moira Dee. I do find it offensive to continually read about the Williamson family so would appreciate it very much if Manfredi were to refrain from highlighting their results. Thanks Manfredi. |
