| Announcement: Inaugural DanceSport WA Awards Night |

Couldn't think of a better place to put this topic:
Just to get people's thoughts on the DSWA Award night held last Saturday.
My comment:
Congradulations to Richard Morrissey and everyone else who made the awards night happen. I think it's a fantastic idea. It was so nice to relax and enjoy the company of the dancing community outside of the rigors of a competition. Of course being the first award night it had its teething problems but it really had an air of occassion about it.
It was great to see some of the pioneers of DanceSport in WA honoured both in person and by means of the audio-visual presentation. Also great to see the behind the scenes volunteers acknowledged too.
I'm sure the event will be bigger and better next year.
Thank you to all who pushed for years to get it off the ground and who made it happen.
