A lot of people have heard before this competition that Paul Killick (Former world latin champion) has decided to come back to competiting. All spectators were waiting for Professional Latin to see if it is true. Indeed Paul Killick dancing with Ekaterina Lapaeva were on the floor. However they were not at their top and another British couple Paul Richardson and Olga Rodionova dancing exceptionally well won this competition while Paul Killick and Ekaterina were second. Out of five dances Paul and Olga were first in four, while Paul and Ekaterina in two. This is not a mistake - in Cha Cha there was a draw! This spectacular success for Paul and Olga was even more important to them as at the end of this competition they have announced their retirement from competitive dancing. What an exceptional last competition for them! Warren and Kristi Boyce won Amateur Ballroom at British Close again. Runners up were Marco Cavallaro and Joanne Clifton. Warren and Kristi announced that this was their last competition as Amateurs and that they decided to dance as Professional couple now. Also great to see Hazel Newbury back on the floor with Johnathan Wilkins, although placing second.
