NCDC was great this year! Not 2 mention the supberb floorshows, the competition was intense.
So many of our top couples came backfrom overseas plus there some internationl competition in the Adult Standard.
Adult Latin: (My thoughts)
Arkady and Rosa should have won over Michael and Anastasia, judging by speed and skill, tho Michael was clear winner in the end they portrayed each dance really well, i thought. It was also good to see Craig and Sriani, I love this couple!
Adult Standard:
Well, it wasnt half obvious that Chao was the clear winner., I thoight that the Chinese Youth couple would beat Michael and Milana, i dont feel that they have improved very much over time, but who am i to say.
Adult New Vogue:
Rhett Watts beat Gino, Gosh! Andy Donnely looked good for third i thought. Not sure about the couple who placed 6th, but the Youth couple, are they new? They did well to make this final. (I even thought they might have placed higher)
Youth events: Well the Chinese couple completely dominated this. Steven and Rachelle were great too, He has so much style and maturity, and there were 3 Queensland couples in the youth Standard, thats different, lol, (3rd, 5th, 6th, i think)
Steven and Kristina were great in the latin, not quite as experienced as the chinese though, Does anyone know the China-man's name?
There were a few unexpected reults in the Junior also.

Yes, the youth couple from Queensland are very impressive. They came out of Junior earlier this year, after winning the Standard and New Vogue at the Aussies last year.
What a tall, elegant couple. I think they have a big future.
And I agree with your thoughts about the Adult Latin, would have liked to see Arkady & Rosa win but Michael has a great presence and does the 'Manly' bit very well. Arkady and Rosa have improved in leaps and bounds since the WA Open last year so. The Man/woman thing may improve as Arkady ages a bit - he looks so young! Rosa is fabulous - best girl out there imho.
Yes, was great to see the Chinese couple (Chao and Li Ying?) in the Adult Standard again. Fabulous. I love the softness of his waltz and foxtrot. Absolutly no doubt about the winner there.
Yes, Chao is a very talented dancer, the way he dances through the music is quite impressive. I read that he won the Youth at Blackpool a few years ago!
Hopefully more intenational couples continue to come to australia, as it is great for our competitors to see what the competition is like overseas.
The Youth couple, David and Lauren must have improved imensely as i wasnt that impressed with them in Junior, but they certainly made an impact in the youth field. It should be interesting how they compare at Megastars.
it obvious why chao is so good, he is so deticated to his dancing, its great seeing international couples, you get a taste for what is overseas
